| If your firm has been responsible for designing spaces for the Performance Arts we want to hear from you. The United States Institute for Theater Technology (USITT) is looking for projects of all scales and types. From the smallest Community Theater to the large Regional Performing Arts Centers. All user types such as; dedicated performances spaces for K-12 schools, University Centers, for profit venues and complexes for professional nonprofit groups. All project types including new construction, major renovations, outdoor spaces, nontraditional spaces and spaces I wouldn’t thought to list. And all performance types, drama, music, dance, etc. The multimedia exhibit will allow a project to be presented in a number of ways. Through the original concept sketch, plans, photos, section model, time lapse video of project construction and time lapse video of a day in the life of the theater. PS: Keep in mind the PQ2011 is a Competitive Event. The US Architecture Exhibit will be judged in Prague by: Arata Isozaki, Japan Architect, Scenographer, Curator, Theorist, Designer Erich Wonder, Austria Scenographer Monika Pormale, Latvia Scenographer and Costume Designer Viliam Dočolomanský, Slovakia, Czech Republic Director and Head of the International Theatre Studio "Farm in the Cave" Felice Ross, Israel Lighting Designer Carmen Romero, Chile Director of the Festival de Teatro Santiago a Mil Marvin Carlson, USA Theorist of Theater and Performances Brett Bailey, South Africa Director, Dramatist, Scenographer, Costume Designer Gold medal at the PQ 2007 Kevin Purcell, Australia Composer, Sound Designer, Conductor For more information CLICK HERE >> |
